The education process at the sculpture department of ALU Široki Brijeg takes place five years (ten semesters) in two forms, practical and theoretical. The practical form of teaching is performed in sculpture classes under the supervision of professors and assistants, and involves the exploration of the sculptural form through various materials and visual arts. The theoretical form of teaching encourages the student to consciously contemplate his artistic creation. In addition to art education, students also improve their craft skills through sculpture technology. The main goal is to include as wide a range of sculptures as possible in order to build into complete sculptors, present in the contemporary art of their time, but at the same time with knowledge and experience based on the sculptural achievements of the past.

1. In the first year of sculpture students are involved in forming a portrayal of clay and are trained to make a gypsum print (mold). Theoretical subjects:

2. In the second year of sculpture students are involved in portraiture, torso and small plastics. All tasks are shaped in clay and cast into plaster models. Theoretical subjects:

3. In the third year of the first semester, students are involved in forming a large document (kontrapost). In the second semester they model the lying act and figure (model in clothing). All tasks are shaped in clay and cast into plaster models. Theoretical subjects:

4. In the fourth year students meet with various materials: stone, wood, metal, plastic, paper, glass. Thus, through the affinity to certain materials and themes, they build their own individuality. Theoretical subjects:
